CHIP: Putting Communities in the Driver’s Seat

Learn how the Hennepin County CHIP funded projects of eight individuals/small teams related to mental well-being and housing stability resulting from COVID-19 and the murder of George Floyd. People from communities of color and indigenous populations were encouraged to apply, and funds elevated ideas and solutions to local priorities. You’ll hear how the grant and similar work are being carried out through CHIP, and one of the grantees will share her project in the Somali community.
