FLOURISH St. Louis Maternal & Infant Health Data Hub

Maternal and Infant Health data are traditionally released in academic reports accompanied by narrative about how individual behaviors are the cause of the poor statistics. Generate Health is working to shift the narrative to reflect the systems that are at play that affect the poor health outcomes. GH launched a regional data hub which includes three ways for individuals to interact with data: a series of infographics, a series of mini dashboards and a story map. These tools were developed through a series of community focus groups to ensure a truthful narrative behind each of the statistics. Sarah Kennedy, Marisha Frazier, and Maleeha Ahmad from Generate Health share more about this work.
