Co-Creating Enterprise-Wide Data Governance

During this session, Deja Kemp and Amy Hawn Nelson from the Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy (AISP) presented key ideas from a new AISP report, Finding a Way Forward: How to create a strong legal framework for data integration. The discussed how to identify approaches to establish authority and data governance for routine data sharing and integration; articulate and problem-solve legal barriers that may prevent an agency from sharing data ad hoc or developing routine data access and use (such as an Integrated Data System); and examine site-based approaches to data sharing and integration based on the AISP network.
