Community Data Project: Hartford Youth Researchers

Hartford Data Collaborative staff, Kate Eikel and Geethika Fernando, and a Youth Researcher, Shian Earlington, shared their experiences working together to analyze data from the first year of youth engagement programming post-COVID in the City of Hartford. This session introduced ideas for incorporating and onboarding youth researchers into integrated data systems and sharing youth researchers’ insights with their communities. Shian also discussed her passion for social justice and her experience reviewing data about her community.
